The background design of the girl's part is consistent with Scandinavian (I
think) mythology, where the souls of dead people take the form of butterflies
when entering the realm of the dead. Such belief is definitely appealing to me
.
I think that painting with watercolours immediately sets the mood of the
picture, don't you?
I personally prefer pastels as they're 'cleaner' (when I paint I usually end up
having paint everywhere, even in my hair ).
Great poses of the two, i really have the impression that they're looking at me.
On the minus side, the boy's neck is too long and thick.
Oh, I almost forgot - love the girl's clothes!
Love the abundance of colours and all the vectoring work must have been a
hell.
Is it just me or is there a slight Hokusai (I've been reading a lot about
Japanese painting lately) reference?
Anyway, a great wallpaper.
Good wallpaper, I like the red colour (Red Ninja!) and the splatters.
Her pose looks a bit weird, though - on the original scan she is using some kind
of a weapon and the character alone here lacks to me a purpose.
Still, a keeper.
You're right, the man does have something in him .
Flawless execution, as always, plus the colour choice is a nice suprise to me
(I'm not into brown colours, but I actually like them here). Any chance for
1024x768 resolution? Pretty please?
I like this version better as the outlines distract my eyes from the focal
point, namely the character. Interesting choice of white for the lines, although
I think it's somehow fitting (the more I look at the wallpaper, the more I like
it).
Great wallpaper, no doubt about it. Love the detail and colours, plus the
composition makes the character look really graceful and elegant in her dance.
Interesting composition, although the wallpaper itself is a little too blue for
my taste. Why isn't the sky green? Why?!?
Anyway, looking forward to more Nodame Cantabile wallapers!
Yummy! My favourite colours!
Great Art Nouveau design, two thumbs up for its originality. The dress looks a
bit weird with the round endings, but I saw the scan and noticed that it was
from beginning so (though it does remind me a bit of a peacock as well).
I will surely use it on my desktop soon.
Sesshomaru is definitely waaay better than Inuyasha, though his ego is sky high.
I admit that I stopped reading the manga pretty soon after Sesshomaru appeared,
so I have no clue about his character's further development.
The wallpaper itself is a keeper, as usually .
Great wallpaper - I really like the fact that the sketchy look of the drawing is still present in the wallpaper.
Awesome job!
The image is pretty scary, especially with all the mannequins in the background. Somehow I fear lifeless dolls more than rats or spiders...

I've got a sneaking suspicion that she has no undies...
The wallpaper is definitely very creepy, but not as creepy as the original scan.
Great work and thank you for the 1600x1200 size!

There's something very cute about all those winged creatures...

Great wallpaper - through use of a light colour for background you managed to make the wallpaper light and delicate.
A keeper for me.

Love the background on this one - instant association with old Japanese paintings...
Cute and minimalistic, great colours too. A keeper for me.
Very pop-artish, colorful and gothic at the same time.

Congratulations on the DA! anniversary with the hope of more great bishounen wallpapers to come!
Keroro as the main character on a wallpaper - what more can a girl want?

An excellent artwork, almost a ready-to-use wallpaper.
Great wallpaper, definitely classy. The thumbnail sucks a lot (it usually does).
